MY STORY SO FAR...
It seems pretty nuts (certainly to me!) that I’ve been working in music for over 2 decades! 23+ years ago I finished school and started working at Apollo Control in London, studio of dance rock pioneers Apollo 440.
I spent 11 years there, learning my craft as an engineer and in music production. I was fortunate to work on all sorts of projects from numerous albums with indie bands, vocal sessions with global pop stars, recording sessions with guitar legends, mixing film scores in 5.1, remix productions and even PlayStation game soundtracks.
I’ve worked on top 10 hits, multi-platinum records and engineered on a Grammy award winning EP but more importantly I’ve been lucky to work with a lot of incredibly talented and wonderful people. Many of which have become long term friends along the way.
Around 2007 I became part of Apollo 440’s live band. Since then I've been a part-time rockstar, going to places I’d never imagined ever getting to go headlining shows and festivals around Europe.
I also later joined The Blackwhite, an indie band which despite great promise sadly is no more. We did make an awesome super slow motion music video which you can find on YouTube though...
In 2013 I turned freelance, deciding to focus on the aspect of music creation I enjoyed the most: mixing. I like to think that I take my 23+ years of knowledge & experience into every mix I work on, always setting myself high standards without compromise.
To be honest I feel very lucky to have had the career I have so far, being involved in so much amazing music over the years. I’m looking forward to what the next decades may bring…or however long my ears last…🦇

WHAT THE FAQ
For rate inquires, please contact me here or send me an email.
Please tell me about your project and share a few details:
-
The artist name and how many songs you’d like mixed
-
Your timeline or deadlines you're working to
-
Any reference tracks or inspiration
-
Who is funding the project (independent or label)
If you have a rough mix or demo for me to hear, feel free to include that too.-
Throughout my career I've thankfully got to work on a real mix (excuse the pun) of genres and styles of music. I've got a soft spot for indie/rock, folk, and pop - anything with real soul, grit, groove and heart...but I'm always up for pushing genre boundaries and experimenting.
I love music featuring real live human-played instruments but I also feel equally at home working on precisely programmed pop for example. My expertise spans multiple genres so let's discuss where you feel your music sits.
Here is what i'd ideally like to have for mixing:
-
Dry, unprocessed multi-track: Please send individual audio tracks with all plugins and processing turned off where possible.
Having the dry files gives me flexibility and option to try things.
-
Processed sounds: If any processing is essential to the sound (e.g. guitar amps), keep it on for the dry bounce.
-
Wet versions: Feel free to include alternate processed versions of any tracks if you think they’ll be useful. If you'd rather give me JUST the wet versions of tracks that's ok, it just limits me slightly.
-
Vocals: If tuning has been done and everyone’s happy with it, please leave it on. Otherwise, without processing. A totally RAW untuned bounce of the lead vocal can also be useful in case of any tuning glitches!
-
Aux/group bounces: If you’d like to include effect returns or group stems for reference, that’s totally fine.
-
Export settings: All files should be bounced from bar 0 at the original sample rate and bit depth (24 or 32-bit).
-
Reference mix: Please include a WAV of your latest production/rough mix.
-
Screenshots: Any screenshots of plugins (particularly effects), automation or anything you think would be helpful are welcome!
-
Tempo & key: Please include the BPM and key of the song on the name of the folder the files are in.
-
I don't put a limit on mix revisions. My aim is for everyone involved to feel more than completely satisfied with a mix. Sometimes this can mean trying things, if they work - awesome! If not..at least we know!
Usually a mix will be in great shape in the first 2 versions, then any further revisions will often be adjusting small details.
We certainly can! We can do an online remote mixing session together via Audiomovers & video call. That way you're able to listen on a system you're familiar with and we can make adjustments to the mix in real time. You're able to see and hear changes made so there's no confusion. I've found this can be a great way of nailing those last little details on a mix together.
I'm totally cool with a more literal pronunciation of "cra-jew-ski", but the actual Polish way is something like "cry-eff-ski".
